Well this little boy of ours is coming sooner than later. We are finally getting around to getting some projects done. Most important thing we need to get done was switching around the bedrooms. The girls got consolidated into one room with bunk beds. It took awhile for the oldest to come to terms with this. The first night after I tucked them in I heard #2 say to #1 “goodnight roomie!” And then a less enthusiastic #1 respond back “goodnight” haha but actually it’s been going really well. We did a quick and affordable makeover trying to incorporate things we already had. I’ll post about that in the future.

So on to the baby’s room. I’ve been looking for crib bedding for the last few months and nothing strikes me. I mean really I had no idea how hard it would be to find boys bedding that isn’t super cheesy or outrageously priced. Jed calls me a bedding snob. And he is probably right. I know what I want in my head but I don’t want to spend a fortune. Here are some Pinterest pics that caught my eye for boy nurseries.

After much debate I settled on a very basic gray and white bedding set from Pottery Barn and then I will add personality through accents, window treatments and decor. I just didn’t want everything too matchy matchy and I don’t have an unlimited budget. Here are a few pics of what I have so far.

I picked Sherwin Williams French Gray for the walls. Then I’m gonna incorporate some color and pattern through window treatment fabrics and pennants that I plan to hang over the crib. These will both be DIY projects with the help of Jed’s aunt. I’ll keep ya posted on how that goes. Well that’s all I’ve got so far and I better get my tail in gear before this little boy makes his appearance!
